Follow a stranger for a day. Document their route.
Inspired by Sophie Calle, follow a stranger through the city for several hours. Document their movements. Write what you learned from it.
Instructions
- Choose a stranger at random (street, subway, cafe).
- Follow them discreetly for at least 2-3 hours. Keep your distance.
- Take photos (of places, not their face if possible, or blurred).
- Note their habits, the people they meet, the places they frequent.
- Write a story of their life based on your observations. Share on the site.
Variants
Follow them until they disappear from your sight. Then search for them in the city.
Follow someone for several different days, at different times.
