The principle
OuViePo offers creative constraints, invitations to transform your daily life into an artistic gesture. Each constraint mixes a domain of life (body, space, time, intimate, object, sound, image, relation, digital) with a precise action.
Each constraint is an invitation to create. You choose, you realize, you leave a trace. Simple.
How does it work ?
1. Registration
Create your account on the OuViePo site to become an OuViePien. Registration is free and gives you access to all features: submit your traces, comment, build your OuViePien Identity Card.
2. Discover the constraints
On the homepage, the Generator offers you a random constraint. You can also browse all constraints by domain (Body, Space, Time, Intimate, Object, Sound, Image, Relation, Digital). Each constraint has a difficulty level and a suggested duration.
3. Perform the constraint
That’s where it gets interesting. You choose a constraint, you realize it your own way. There’s no right or wrong answer… just your way of living the constraint. Take a photo, write a text, record a sound, film a video… or all of it at once.
4. Submit your trace
Via the submission form (accessible once logged in), you send your trace in 7 steps. You choose the type (image, text, video, web, mixed), you add your files, you describe your experience.
5. Moderation and publication
Each trace is reviewed before publication. This isn’t censorship, it’s curation: we verify that the trace is linked to a constraint and that it respects the project’s spirit. Usual timeframe: 24-48h.
6. The mosaic
Once published, your trace joins the collective mosaic: a digital fresco where each colored pixel represents a participation. The more traces there are, the more the mosaic grows. You can export it as PNG or PDF.
7. Your OuViePien Identity Card
In your personal space (WordPress backend), you find your Card: a summary of your OuViePien journey… your traces, your explored domains, your statistics, your history.
The Traces system
A trace is the testimony of your experience with a constraint. It can take several forms:
- Image: photo, illustration, collage…
- Text: story, poem, reflection…
- Video: short film, timelapse, performance…
- Sound: recording, music, ambiance…
- Web: link to a website, social network, portfolio…
- Mixed: combination of several formats
Each trace is submitted via the dedicated form and, after moderation, joins the collective mosaic. In your OuViePien profile (« My Card »), you find the history of all your traces.
File naming convention
Please respect this naming convention for your files. It helps us a lot for organization and archiving!
The expected format is:
OuViePo_Constraint_XXX_YourNickname.extension
Detail of each element:
- OuViePo… always first, with capital letters O, V, P (not “ouviepo” or “OUVIEPO”)
- Constraint… the full word, with a capital C
- XXX… the constraint number on 3 digits (001, 002… 015, etc.)
- YourNickname… your OuViePo username, no spaces (replace spaces with hyphens or underscores)
- .extension… the file extension (.jpg, .png, .mp4, .mp3, .txt, etc.)

Propose a constraint
OuViePo is a living project. If you have a constraint idea, propose it by email to contact@ouviepo.fr or use the Contact form. Each proposal is studied and, if it respects the project’s spirit (one domain of life + one creative action), it will be added to the catalog with your name as author.
