The Commute Playlist

Create a playlist that tells the story of your commute. In order.

Create a playlist whose songs correspond to each stage of your daily commute. One song per moment, in order. Listen to it for a week.

Map your daily commute. Break it into distinct stages: leaving the house, the street, the transport, the arrival...
For each stage, choose a song that matches it. Not your favorite songs... songs that fit the moment.
Assemble the playlist in the exact order of the commute. Adjust the duration if needed.
Listen to this playlist during your commute every day for a week. Do not shuffle.
After a week, note what the music changed in your perception of the commute.

Create a playlist for someone else's commute. Without knowing their route, imagine their journey.

Create two playlists for the same commute: one for the morning, one for the evening return.
