The List of Impossible Things
Write a list of things you will never do. Be precise.
Write a list of things you are certain you will never do in your life. Be precise and honest. Not fantasies... real impossibilities.
Instructions
- Sit down with paper and pen. Write the title: 'Things I will never do.'
- Write at least twenty items. Be specific. Not 'travel to space'... things that are personally impossible for you.
- Be honest. Include the things that hurt to write.
- Read the list aloud to yourself.
- Choose one item from the list. Do it, or start doing it. Post the list and the exception on the site.
Variants
Exchange lists with someone. Each person chooses one thing from the other's list and tries to make it happen.
Write the opposite list: things you will definitely do before you die. Compare the two.
