The website allows user account creation via Theme My Login. During registration, we collect a username, an email address and a password (stored in encrypted form). Email verification is required before account activation.
Legal basis: performance of a contract (access to member-only features).
Retention period: data is retained as long as the account is active. You may request account deletion at any time.
Submitting Traces
If you submit a Trace (a creative response to an OuViePo constraint), the associated data (text, image, pseudonym) is published on the website. By submitting a Trace, you consent to this publication.
Legal basis: consent.
Retention period: lifetime of the website, unless deletion is requested.
Audience measurement
We use Google Analytics 4 (via Google Site Kit) to analyse website traffic. Google Analytics collects anonymised data about your browsing: pages visited, visit duration, device type, approximate location (country/city). This data helps us improve the website.
Google Analytics may place cookies on your browser. You can refuse these cookies via the consent banner displayed on your first visit, or by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Legal basis: consent (via the cookie banner).
Anti-spam protection
The contact form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which may collect technical data (IP address, browsing behaviour) to distinguish humans from bots. The use of reCAPTCHA is subject to Google’s privacy policy.
The Akismet plugin may also process data submitted via forms to detect spam.
Website security
The Wordfence plugin ensures website security. It may temporarily record your IP address, user agent and login attempts for protection against attacks. This data is retained for a maximum of 30 days.
Legal basis: legitimate interest (website security).
Cookies
The website uses the following cookies:
Strictly necessary cookies (no consent required): WordPress session cookies, consent cookie (Cookie Law Info), language cookie (Polylang).
Audience measurement cookies (subject to consent): Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*, _gid). Duration: 2 years maximum.

You can manage your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the cookie management link at the bottom of the page, or by configuring your browser.
Data transfers outside the EU
Google Analytics and Google reCAPTCHA may transfer data to the United States. Google relies on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework to govern these transfers.
