Write your journal 48 hours after a difficult event.

Wait 48 hours after an emotionally difficult event (breakup, loss, conflict). Then write your private journal without self-censorship.

Instructions

  1. Something painful happens to you.
  2. Wait 48 hours. Don't talk. Let it rest.
  3. Write your journal. Everything. No filter.
  4. Re-read it. Underline passages where you discover yourself.
  5. Share it anonymously on the site, or keep it secret. Just describe the process.

Variants

Also write a journal 1 hour after, and compare the two versions.

Write to the person involved (but don't send it to them).
